So, recently we've had a slight obsession with Chocolate Fondant. It's brilliantly quick to make and here is our recipe:
Ingredients
Serves 2 (ramekins required)
20g plain flour
50g dairy free margarine
50g sugar
50g dark chocolate
50g golden caster sugar
1 egg (white and yolk)
1 egg yolk

- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius
- Grease the ramekins
- Melt the butter and chocolate (we do this quickly in the microwave) - leave this aside to cool
- Beat the sugar and eggs together until the whisk leaves a trail in the mixture
- Add the butter and chocolate mixture to the sugar and egg mixture and whisk
- Gently fold in the flour to mixture
- Divide the mixture into the two ramekins
- Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour
- Bake the fondants for approximately 8 minute (trial and error for your oven and perfection!)
